A Celtic Harp Concerto
Gerard created this as the original Flash introduction page for this project. It ended up being to large.

It uses a large harp concerto loop as the soundtrack throughout the entire introduction.

Jazz Piano
Gerard then created this introduction but felt that the piano soundtrack did not reflect the qualities of his collaboration with Huang.

Low Koto, Temple Drum and Harp
Gerard completed the introduction by finding what he considered a balance between Western and Eastern sentiments in the soundtrack.

The sounds are from a low Koto with a temple bell, the sound then migrates into the strumming of a celtic harp when the crutch begins to morph into a living tree.
